Love Of Oats

A blog dedicated to balancing a healthy and fun life… with oats!

Favorites

I LOOOOOOVE black bean soup… I love all kinds (and I have tried a lot: favorites are Wegman’s spicy Jamaican and Panera Bread’s)… My favorite on-the-go-pack-for-lunch kind is Amy’s Black Bean Vegetable soup… I had that and took pictures (which will be posted later) of it… and I paired it with a pear (yes I have a cheesy sense of humor)… It was delicious…

Oh & for a mid-am snack I had a banana around 10am, sorry no picture, it was an impulse snack, which was a good idea since I didn’t get to eat my lunch until 1pm…

I will definitely be eating a mid afternoon snack (Cliff Bar ~ PB Chocolate Chip flavor) since I am going to head to a 5:30 spinning class… I will probably eat half at 3:00 and then the other half RIGHT before (which I literally did, driving in my car!)…

My body is weird in the fact that if I don’t eat something within 30 minutes of working out, I feel weak/nauseous/starving, don’t know why, but I just know that to get a good workout, I need fuel right before! After the class, my fiance is meeting me at the gym because he is going to get information on joining my gym ~ yay!!! My snack/dinner post will probably be around 7-8, just as an FYI, it will be late since I don’t know how long I’ll be at the gym… Enjoy your Thursday, it’s ALMOST Friday!

Hi Ashley ~ I am addicted to oats, a day without them is just not the same – honestly I think I go through withdrawal if I don’t have them for breakfast! Thanks for stopping by & I’m glad you enjoy it!!!
