So excited for TGIF today… It has been a much better day today and I am looking forward to this weekend, even though it’s another busy, swamped weekend… This morning I started out with oats w/ flax+cinnamon+walnuts with a few strawberries mixed in… I am loving these strawberries but they are almost gone!
I had a Cliff bar around lunchtime, chocolate chip, and that did a great job fueling me through both work this morning and a tough workout… I did about 10 minutes of elliptical and 25 minutes of running on the treadmill, then 35 minutes of heavy upper body weights… I spent close to an hour wandering Target getting some “essentials” and a card for my dad, I thought I would be in and out but a trip to Target is never brief, I get so side-tracked!
Anyway when I got home I made some oatmeal (I was in the mood for it again!) and mixed in a banana & 3tbsp of this backwoods trail mix (target brand – raisins, sunflower seeds, peanuts, soybeans, pepitas, cashews, walnuts)… it was so yummy & full of proten

Now I am working on some laundry & school work… Tonight we are going to dinner for my dad’s birthday with the whole fam… It should be a nice time… We are going to this place called Georgine’s which is where we ALWAYS go for birthdays haha… Since it’s Lent, I will have to be creative w/ what I order… I’m thinking maybe crab cakes or flounder! They have really delicious homemade desserts and our favorite is strawberry crepes so I made sure to workout a little harder today to make up for them hehe… Be back w/ pics of dinner later tonight!
