Woo Hoo!

Dinner tonight was something new & one of my favorites… my mom made a new recipe with orzo & tons of veggies which was VERY yummy (great job Mom!) and we also had Rachel Ray’s mini meatloaves… I typically HATE/DESPISE meatloaf, it has always grossed me out majorly, but for some reason I like this kind and I have absolutely no idea why… it is the ONLY kind I will eat… I also had some string beans on the side… deeeeeeeeelish (and I finally feel full for the first time today!)…

My mom told me I got a package in the mail so when I went to go open it up I realized it was TONS of larabars & a t-shirt!!!!! I am beyond excited about these… I believe the box has every single flavor, so I will be providing a full review on each flavor as I consume their yummy goodness… I am almost tempted to have one as a post-workout snack, but I figure I’ll wait until tomorrow to start my sampling :) Thank you Larabar!

I had a great workout at the gym… did about 25 minutes of elliptical (set it to random for more of a challenge) since all the treadmills were taken… then I did another 25 minutes of lower body weights… I came home and debated about doing abs, but I knew I had stated yesterday that my goal was to do them everyday, so I did them and felt great about it afterwards… I am now getting ready to design/word/order the wedding invitations with my mom & wind down for a bit…

I am also going to make some pb-banana goodness, so pic to come later on that!

Starving

Don’t know what was going on w/ me today, maybe it was the lack of crunch in my oatmeal?  Who knows, but I was STARVING all morning… I had a nectarine and 15 almonds as my mid-am snack and thought the fruit/protein combo would do the trick (i was hoping), but nope… still hungry… so I made some Yogi green tea around 10:45 to keep me occupied!  I devoured my lunch which was about 2 servings of salmon (+dijon mustard/pepper), green peppers + spicy hummus, and a mini wheat bagel ~ delish… This should definitely do the trick (especially with the heavy dose of fiber & protein) with getting rid of my hunger at least until 3pm… My planned mid-pm snack is a few slices of turkey (leftover from last night) & a slice of muenster cheese (not a huge cheese person but needed something to go w/ the turkey)…

I have no idea what dinner will be tonight, my mom left her first comment on a previous post telling me she is planning something for dinner haha… She started reading the blog as of yesterday and also started leaving comments – I’m so proud of her :)   Hi MOM!
