Sorry for just getting around to posting… it was a crazy day!

I had a Clif Z Bar, chocolate chip flavor, on my drive home today… I am obsessed w/ this flavor… I still can’t determine if I like chocolate brownie or chocolate chip better – they are both equal in my eyes, so go get em if you have been leery!  I felt like I was eating a real cookie (well pretty close to one)… mmm, these would definitely be good microwaved!

When I got home, I made a quick banana/strawberry/yogurt/flax smoothie… for some weird reason, this filled me up for HOURS… I don’t know why though, maybe the warm weather?  Either way it was really tasty…

I got home and hit the books (to finish up an assignment for my online class) & then hit the kitchen to bake away for a party we have tomorrow night since my Saturday is jam-packed…  I made a ton of mini chocolate brownies, but baked them in mini muffin pans since it was easier & quicker!  These are not exactly healthy, but the goal is EVERYTHING IN MODERATION, remember?  As a result, I had to sample one…

After I was finished baking, I went for a 45 minute run around my neighborhood in the sunshine

Afterwards, Bill and I headed to the hospital to see the baby… she was even more adorable today!  We got to see her beautiful eyes tonight, too!  On our way to the hospital, we stopped at our usual Friday night spot, MOE’s… I usually get the black bean salad, but I opted to switch it up tonight… Instead I got a cheese quesadilla and added some of their yummy quacamole & pico de gallo on top… it was divine!

Now I am off to bed – I am exhausted… happy Friday everyone!
