Back To Healthy Routine

Monday already ~ what is up with that… When I got up this morning and didn’t wake up in Cooperstown, I realized that it was back to work and thus, back to reality, whether I liked it or not!

The two things I did miss while in Cooperstown was a healthy breakfast (free of temptations!) and the gym… so in a little, itsy, bitsy way, I am happy to be home and back in a routine…

I have to comment on HealthyAshley‘s recent post… Basically she says if you eat crap, you will feel like crap – SO TRUE, considering I ate so much sugar this weekend and this morning I was paying for it with a mild, but consistent headache… I think if I ever got a tattoo, it would be of that phrase – HAHA!

Anyway, on to breakfast… I started out this morning by “testing out” the Kashi Mountain Medley granola sample that I received in the mail (although I am definitely going through oats withdrawal)… I saw the commercial for the samples a few weeks prior, so I signed up since I love all things Kashi and I had yet to try their granola… I had the sample size for breakfast (about 1/2 cup = 220 calories) with 1/2 cup Almond Breeze… it was really hearty… It had yummy granola clusters, craisins, even nuts in it!  I was pleasantly impressed and I’m pretty sure it will hold my hunger this morning because I am still full from all the food I ate this weekend…

    your trip looked like so much fun by the way! growing up in a baseball family (it’s in your blood if you’re from cleveland), i would love to go to cooperstown.
