Love Of Oats

On Top Of Spaghetti…

For the afternoon, I packed a half cup of non fat cottage cheese and a banana for a snack today, but once I ate the cottage cheese, I felt satisfied, so I held off on eating the banana…

Dinner was whole wheat pasta, a meatball and a piece of italian sausage topped with my mom’s homemade pasta sauce… this hit the spot…

I was planning on going to the gym but despite the gross weather and my overall tiredness I decided to workout from home… I did a pilates dvd and called it a night… sometimes it’s nice to have relaxing, not physically tough workouts… Although I didn’t look at my calories burned, I realized that my statement earlier about calorie burning might not be such a nice goal to have… I think requiring 5 400 calorie workouts will cause major burnout for me, so instead I’m just going to resolve to push myself whenever I workout, but not set any crazy goals… I apologize if I seem like I’m going from one extreme to the next, but I’m just trying to be practical in my approach :)

Now, I am off to shower & relax with some tv-watching for the remainder of the night, when channel flipping, I saw that there is a “work out” marathon on Bravo tonight, which excites me because I loved this show last year but haven’t had an opportunity to watch it this year because it’s on after my bed time hehe…
Have a great night :)

MizFit & VeggieGirl ~ I was DEFINITELY disappointed with workout last night :/ too much STUPID drama!

Ashley ~ oooo, I think I’ll plan this for tomorrow’s snack!!! It sounds so yummy :)

Caroline & Cassie ~ Thanks, I think I am definitely better foregoing the rules and just listening to my body :)

Yay for listening to your body! I had pasta today too, but it was mediocre sauce as it wasn’t homemade :( Lucky girl!

Good for you for listening to your body rather than trying to stick to a “rule.”
    Your pasta looks great!

Homemade pasta sauce MAKES the meal – yum!!

Kudos to you for not killing yourself with the workouts – it’s best to enjoy the exercise!! :0) This is just my opinion, but I’m a bit disappointed with this season of ‘Work Out’ – I liked last season’s shows much better :0(

Next time try mixing the banana with the cottage cheese and cinnamon…its one of my fav snacks, and sometimes even a dessert.
