Hi Everyone!
Thank you so much for your really sweet comments and well-wishes regarding me taking Fri-Mon off from blogging! I got SO much done the last couple days, it was INSANE! Here’s a sampling of what I was up to:
- Ordered a new Kingsdown Queen bed, courtesy of my parents – thank you!!!!
- I packed up 90% of my stuff from my parents house
- Finalized our wedding contract & rehearsal dinner contract
- Unpacked my stuff and organized it into my new closet @ Bill’s
- Made THREE trips to Target for closet organizers, hangers (I bought pink ones for my closet – Bill wasn’t too impressed haha), etc…
- “Lindsay-i-fied” the house = turned it from looking like a boy’s house = added candles, decorated the bathrooms, cleaned, organized
- Printed & assembled wedding placecards
- Printed signature drink “menu” & bathroom poems
- Wrapped bridesmaids gifts
- Boxed up all of our DIY items (favors, cardbox, day of wedding accessories, signboard frame, candles, cocktail hour decorations, out of town bags) so they will be easy to put in the car
The bad news is that because we were running around non-stop from 7am-12am, the 3-day weekend flew by… But, I feel a whole lot better and much less stressed that I got a lot done, so the peace of mind is well worth the fast-moving weekend!
I still have a pretty substantial list of things “to-do” before next Tuesday, but they are all smaller things so I’m hoping to get them done by Sunday because then I need to start packing for Cape May & Jamaica!
Anyway, enough wedding gab, it’s back to reality! I’m really happy it’s Tuesday because it definitely feels like a Monday, so I’m sure the work week will fly by
I started out the morning with something different: cold cereal! I used a mixture of 1 cup Fiber One + 1/2 cup Kashi Heart to Heart with about 3/4 cup of skim milk… And of course, you can see by this picture that I added a substantial amount of fresh strawberries… Yes, there is flax hiding between the layer of strawberries & cereal!
Mid-morning, I packed a Clif Mojo Peanut Butter pretzel bar… I had one of these over the weekend after seeing them on a lot of blogs and was 100% impressed… They were SO yummy and I loved the combination of salty + sweet! Plus, it was super filling… I had one of these after a tough spinning class and it kept me full for 3.5 hours! I am definitely planning on stocking up with these bars, I think they would be a great “guilty-pleasure-but-not-bad-for-you” airport snack when we are traveling for our honeymoon!
Well, I hope you all have a great Tuesday whether you are heading back to work or back to school!

I’m so jealous that you were able to fit in so much into your weekend. I had a huge to do list, but I didn’t get very far.
I can’t wait (in a couple weeks) to see your wedding pictures and hear about your honeymoon.

Kristie says:
Wow, that is quite the packed weekend! I love weekends like that though, they always leave you with such a feeling of accomplishment by the end.
Good luck with the rest of the little things you have to do all week. You seem really good at this whole get-er-done stuff though so I’m sure you’ll have no problems at all
