This morning I woke up and felt a ton better so off to the gym for 8am spinning I went… On my drive there I snacked on 3/4 of a Pure Protein Chocolate PB bar… Nothing like the taste of peanut butter to get you going in the morning

I had a great “sweat session” and then headed over to my mom’s house this morning, but I made a mini stop at Starbucks for a coffee and a spinach, egg, sundried tomato and feta wrap. I never had a breakfast sandwich from there before and I was quite impressed. I think I will need to replicate this at home once I get my hands on some feta – it was so yummy.

Then it was off to get my nails done with my mom. I picked a nice bright pink shade which I’m sure you’ll be seeing in action shots later this week hehe…
When I got home it was around lunchtime, but I was in the mood for yogurt so I decided to get creative. In my bowl contained:
- 1 plain 2% Chobani
- 1/2 c pumpkin
- 1/8 c sliced almonds (mixed in below)
- 1 tbsp Crazy Richard’s chunky peanut butter (for those of you who asked what kind of pb I use!)
- sprinkling of Zoe’s cinnamon raisin granola
It was delicious – I love making bowls like this because they contain a wide variety of flavors and textures! I especially love this new Zoe’s granola I picked up. Have you tried it yet? The texture is awesome and so is the flavor – I think I’m hooked!

A little while later as I was getting stuff done around the house I started to get hungry so I made a pb&j toasted style using Arnold’s double fiber bread. The one thing I’m excited about, in terms of moving into a new house, is that we have a ton of windows which means natural lighting. In our condo now, my pictures come out so-so because we hardly have any natural lighting, except for today. I loved how the picture below came out because it was one of the few times we get sunshine inside!

Bill and I had a ton of errands to run this afternoon so we decided to use a gift card for dinner tonight since we have so many from Christmas. Outback was Bill’s choice since it’s his favorite restaurant of all haha…
I wanted to try the new blue cheese chopped salad they had so I ordered that to start. I really liked it because it had chopped pecans in it

For dinner I ordered the 6 ounce Outback Special (sirloin) with green beans on the side. The green beans were SOOOOO good. I don’t know if it’s because they were probably cooked in butter OR because I was craving veggies but they sure hit the spot. I also tried one of Bill’s grilled shrimp, too!

Now we are hanging out and relaxing on the couch looking for something good on tv. I am not quite full, believe it or not, so there may be a snack in my future. If so, I’ll include it with tomorrow’s post so ya’ll can see what I had
Have a fun one!
