Oh boy. You guys are probably tired of hearing this but today we shopped til we dropped. We left the house at 2pm and are just getting back now at 9:30pm! The most hysterical part is we didn’t buy ANYTHING, but we went through and picked out EVERYTHING that we have to buy, but since we still have a month until we need it all we’re going to wait a few weeks before we actually buy it. It’s a huge relief finally being able to know what we are going to buy though
I started out the day with half a Clif White Chocolate Macadamia Nut bar ~ yummers…

Then it was off to a nice sweaty spinning class to work myself out for an hour
What is the name of the charity long distance bike ride that I do every July?
When I was done there, I headed to my parents’ house to visit for a bit and ate a delicious bowl of oat bran mixed with half a scoop vanilla whey, chopped pecans, flax, cinnamon, and PB2. Same combination as yesterday but you get to see it all cooked in this picture!

After I headed home and showered, it was time for a fueling lunch. I toasted two slices of this new Vermont Bread Company whole wheat bread that I found in my supermarket and topped it with my homemade chocolate almond butter. On the side I had an apple and some honey goldfish. By the way, if you see that bread in your store, get it. It’s probably the most fabulous bread I’ve had in a LONG time, really fresh and wheat-y (yes I just made that word up!).

After enjoying our late lunch, Bill and I hit the road for a massive shop til you drop session. We didn’t get to eat until after 7 so we were starving. We had a buy one, get one free coupon at TGI Fridays so we took advantage of it. I had a huge appetite so we ordered salads to start.

For my dinner, I was really craving some sort of comfort food and the Chipotle Steak Sandwich seemed like it would satisfy that craving
I asked for sweet potato fries on the side instead of regular ones and they were ok. I wasn’t a huge fan probably because they were lukewarm when they brought them out
The sandwich was amazing though and it even came with plantains on it. I ate them separately but they were OH.SO.GOOD! I had about half the sandwich and packed it up to bring home.

Now it’s off to finally wind down and relax for the night. We’re shopped out!!!!!!
