Happy Thursday ~ it’s almost Friday!  This is a quick post so bear with me :)

Breakfast:  Nature’s Path Vanilla Almond Flax Plus granola & Almond Milk.

Mid-AM Green Smoothie snack:

  • 1 cup raw baby spinach
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 c frozen strawberries
  • 1 raw carrot
  • 1 c almond breeze
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 T flax

Blend well & enjoy the fruit & veggie goodness!  My goal is to have one of these every day for a week and see if I notice a difference :)

Lunch was pb & strawberries on Vermont wheat bread with a kiwi and a side of leftover veggies!

My mid-afternoon snack was a Yotta bar.  I never had one before and bought this one a few weeks back, so I was kind of nervous about trying it.  When I took a bite, my instant reaction was “blechhhhhhhh”… and sadly, the reaction continued.  I ate half the bar and realized I couldn’t stomach it any longer so I threw it out.  Gross

However speaking of bars, Simply Fabulous is hosting a great Trek bar giveaway!

Ok well I’m off to do finish up the day, do 30 minutes of yoga and then head to meet my college roomies for a fun dinner date.  We are going to Cheesecake Factory!!!!!!!  Yay :)   Sorry this is super short…

PS.  Loved the responses on my 5K goal… I think I’m going to try to start a challenge / support group on the blog this weekend so we can focus on our goals together :)
