Ahh, it’s Thursday, which means it’s almost Friday, peeps (no pun intended, with Easter right around the corner!)… Are you guys all excited for the weekend? Do you have a long weekend? I don’t but I’m hoping to finish up on Friday a little earlier than normal, we shall see…
Anyway, breakfast was quick and easy, regular Cheerios + strawberries + flax with skim, since I had to hit the road a little earlier (by 15 minutes) than normal. I have a slightly new work schedule which involves working from 7:15am-6pm, ehh… I’m not happy about it and I don’t get paid OT, but oh well, it will keep me busy especially with having school too… Ok, well I promised no complaining during Holy Week, but this week has been quite trying so I’m trying to put things in perspective… !

Mid-morning, I got my oatmeal fix in with the help of this packet of organic oats, water, and our office microwave.

My lunch was a nice change
I had a ww english muffin smeared with my white bean hummus and spinach.

On the side I had two biscottis and an orange.

Mid-afternoon, I snacked on a Fiber One bar…

For my workout ‘o the day, I went for a nice leisurely 1 mile walk with Bill since time got the best of us.
Dinner was a true repeat of Monday’s dinner, Mexican Steak Stir Fry with a salad, so I won’t elaborate on it
For details, you can check out my post about it on Monday.
Now I’m off to relax and get ready for a fun-filled night of TV, I’m really excited that there are two episodes of the Office on tonight haha… oh the little things that make me happy

Danielle says:
Great eats!
Those 2 episodes of the office were hysterical!
Gar says:
From the title, i thought you were going to feature some Peeps into your eats.
Happy Easter!
Heather says:
Can’t go wrong with strawberries and cheerios! I can’t believe I’ve never tried flax in my cheerios… thanks for the idea
I’ve been hearing so much about the Office lately, but I’ve never caught an episode myself. I think I’m going to have to watch one just to see what all the talk is about!
Erin says:
LOL, I didn’t even realize there were 2 Office epis on last night until we went to watch them! What a treat.
Have a great weekend lady.
Sagan says:
It’s those little things that keep us going through a busy and long workday! The Office is a fantastic show
Sweetie Pie says:
Everything looks tasty, and that’s especially true of the biscotti. YUM! I hope you have a great weekend and get out of work early today! It sounds like, with those kind of hours, you deserve it!
Alisa - Frugal Foodie says:
Those strawberries look so good, I am excited that they are coming in season!
Shannon (The Daily Balance) says:

Hangry Pants says:
I am really looking forward to Easter this year!
I thought I was the only one who ate English Muffins uncooked. I like ‘em like that.
Rose says:
Little things make me happy too! Esp. since the Office wasn’t on last week
Melissa says:
Isn’t it funny how 15 minutes can be so disrupting? Good luck with the new hours, that is one long day!
I TiVo’d all of NBCs thursday night shows, I can’t wait to watch them tonight!
foodieonamission says:
Mmmm…I’m so glad strawberry season is back! I have about four pounds of them in my fridge right now. =)
Jessica (jesslikesithot) says:
I love your breakfast!! I’m so glad strawberries are back in season!
Marianne says:
Ugh, that sounds like a long work day! How is it leagal for them to not pay you overtime, or at least give you time off in lieu? I wouldn’t be happy about it, so it’s understandable if you complain a little.
Anita says:
Where are you getting your strawberries? I haven’t seen any on sale at any of the supermarkets in the PA area- not Giant, not Wegmans… I’m feeling REALLY strawberry-deprived and I’m really unhappy about it. They’re my favorite fruit and I miss them!
Boo to your new work schedule! Those are LONG hours! Is that permanent?
Just think… Phils play tomorrow!!!
NBC was hysterical tonight! LOVED both eps of The Office, and Amy Poehler’s new show was pretty funny too… her character reminded me of a female Michael Scott, haha… and 30 Rock was great too! Thursday night= best night for TV!
Alison says:
Yummy, simple lunch.
I’ve never seen The Office. Lots of my friends love it. I should get it on Netflix and see what I’ve been missing. But first I want to watch Season 1 of Gossip Girls on Netflix – I think that would be an addicting, silly show.
Sharon says:
Hahaha, totally love your eats! I need to add strawberries to my cheerios – great idea! LOL!
primadharma3 says:
Yay for The Office. You reminded me how much I love biscotti too, yummy….
verbalriot says:
How great was the double Office dosage tonight?
I love your lunch! So refreshing. Hope you get to sneak out of work early!
zestycook says:
I had the same thing today… cherrios and strawberries
Brandi says:
i’ve been having a hard week this week, too, and I’m trying not to complain either – I have so much more to be thankful for! I need to remember that
LOVE 2 office episodes!
Sarah says:
I SOOOOOOOOOOO need two episodes of The Office. I pray that its heavy on the “That’s what she said”s.
janeexplained says:
