The word of the day (for the MarchPhotoADay Challenge) is Fruit.

 

My new obsession lately has been Pinterest… I’m not a huge fan of most social networking sites (deleted my Facebook account, and rarely use Twitter), but something about Pinterest has me obsessed… I mostly use it to find neat DIY ideas or new recipes for dinner or dessert…

I’m trying to actually MAKE what I pin, so when I saw this “Apple Pie In An Apple” today, I knew it would be perfect for our Friday night date night and perfect for today’s photo… Not only do they look cute but they taste awesome and make your house smell A-MAZING…  One note though, let them sit for 10 minutes after removing from the oven – they are HOT!

Here’s a linkback to the recipe I used… I followed it for the most part except I didn’t use white sugar, instead I just used 2 T of brown sugar and lots of cinnamon… and I only made 2 apples
