How would you like to win the above goodies? Well, you can! Read on…
Nature’s Path is celebrating every day as “Earth Day” and has made huge strides on their path to sustainability. They are doing their part by changing their packaging and going organic. Nature’s Path has rolled out smaller, more sustainable packaging for its cereal, granola and granola bars. These packaging changes will not only save paperboard and cardboard, but also reduce wastewater and CO2 emissions. All of Nature’s Path’s products are USDA certified organic; grown and produced without any synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, herbicides or GMOs. New data shows that in recent years, the demand for organic food has been rising at a far faster rate than supply. To help combat this and ensure there is organic farmland and a growing supply of organic grains in the future, Nature’s Path works with farmers in Canada to help increase organic acreage and grow more organic crops.
To see what else Nature’s Path is doing to lessen its environmental impact and celebrate the Earth, check out the 2008 Corporate Social Responsibility Report. And, be sure to check out the Nature’s Path Earth Day Photo Contest on Facebook – the first 800 entrants to submit their “Earth appreciation” photo will win a free subscription to Organic Gardening and three lucky winners will win breakfast for a month!
