I hope you all had a fabulous Easter! I was overjoyed at the amount of comments I got wishing me a Happy Easter, thank you guys so much ~ I hope you had as great of an Easter as I did!
I started out the morning bright and early with a little Easter surprise for Bill: Monkey Bread!

Bill’s Easter Basket
After our yummy breakfast we headed off to church for a great service. Our pastor reminded us that we don’t have to work our way to God because he died on the cross to come to us as our Savior ~ such a great message.
Lunch was leftover from Saturday night’s dinner, plus an orange!
Then it was off to my parents house, where we snacked on this…

My Easter dinner plate was loaded: broccoli casserole, homemade coleslaw, corn, cornbread (my contribution!), ham, sweet potatoes.
Baked Beans, too!
Although we were having dessert with Bill’s family, I couldn’t help myself and had a small slice of my grandmom’s cheesecake ~ too yummy to resist…
My crazy cousin Maureen (I told her I’d call her crazy on the blog!) posing with a box of cannolis that she brought especially for Bill! He LOVED them and we got to take some home… Thanks again Maureen!!!
We then left my parents and went over to Bill’s grandparents house where everyone was gathered at. His grandmom served us a strawberry pie – very yummy!
All in all it was a fabulous and special day, but as you can guess, I was exhausted last night which is why I’m not posting until today
