We were on a cleaning rampage today! We threw in laundry, did the dishes, emptied the dishwasher, cleaned both bathrooms, the kitchen, all flooring, and dusted the entire house – we were on a mission! We were originally going to just relax but figured we’d rather relax on Saturday & Sunday instead and get all of our “chores” done now
Mid-afternoon, I decide to make some brownie cookies using No-Pudge brownie mix since we are having some friends over tomorrow. While making them, somehow three of them wound up in my tummy…
Since we had just cleaned the house, I really didn’t feel like cooking so we decided to take advantage of the massive amount of gift cards we have accumulated and get Outback Curbside To-Go. Outback is Bill’s favorite restaurant – besides Ruth’s Chris I ordered the house salad with tangy tomato dressing to start with:
For my entree, I ordered a sweet potato with a 6 ounce well-done Outback Special. Once I started eating, I filled up quite fast. It seems like on days that I don’t workout, my appetite is not all quite there – so weird! I wound up eating half of the sweet potato and half of the steak (so about 3 oz). I’m planning on eating the rest of it tomorrow for lunch.
A little after dinner, we decided to dig into the dessert that my grandmom sent home with us, since I didn’t consume enough desserts in one day (kidding, of course): homemade cheesecake! Delish and the perfect way to end our meal Now, Bill and I are collapsed on the sofa, relaxing and watching Elf - a great movie to start the holiday season!!!
Tomorrow will probably be a little chaotic with spinning & rushing to get to my dress appointment, so I’ll be back in the afternoon with a post
