No More Food Left?

Hi Lovelies!!

Again I can’t thank ya’ll enough for your FABULOUS tips regarding running!  Seriously, if you want some tips, just scroll through the comments section on this post and you will be completely educated by the amazing blog readers I have!

Anyway, now onto the FOOD!  Just as an FYI, from this point on, it will be chaos in our house (can you tell I’m overdramatic yet?) so I won’t be responding to ANY comments, so please save any burning questions for after the moving fiasco is over when I return :)

Also, for the sake of time because we have a ton of little things to do tonight so we are all ready for our moving truck tomorrow, I’m going to keep my commentary to a minimum… I know, hold back your tears ;)

Before I get to today… last night I splurged and had a small glass of wine (unusual for me on a weeknight!) and biscotti…

Dinner was a Joe Corbi’s whole wheat pizza that we purchased from my favorite Boy Scouts (my cousins Justin & Sean)… It was a make-your-own kit and it was a great, easy dinner for tonight since I’m in the process of packing up all of our plates, cups, silverware, etc… I made some steamed broccoli and cauliflower on the side…

And with that, I am happy to say that we have successfully used up 90% of our perishable foods in the fridge… We have a few items left that we’re planning on eating tomorrow but for the most part we won’t have to throw out or waste any food :)

I can’t believe we will be moving in 1.5 days ~ craziness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moving On Up

No, not me… my sore throat suddenly moved on up to my head!  Now, instead of having a sore throat I’m super congested – ugh… booooooo!

I started the day off having to eat my breakfast at work since I needed to get there early.  I cooked up some oatmeal, cinnamon, flax, a banana, and a bunch of pecan halves.  It held my hunger for a while and I wasn’t hungry until 12:30 or so.

Lunch was an ww english muffin with chunky peanut butter and pumpkin.  On the side I had an orange (hoping the Vitamin C will help!) and a yogurt w/ fiber one.  It really filled me up.

Mid-afternoon, I made a packet of oatmeal to warm me up and hold me over until dinner.  I skipped the gym again tonight obviously since I can barely breathe through my nose haha… sorry no picture :(

I made Bill some chili-rubbed chicken, veggies, and baked potato slices w/ old bay, but I knew I didn’t want that.  Although I’m eating, I really have no major hunger.  I actually miss that!  I guess my hunger will resume when I’m back to the gym.

My dinner was totally everything but the kitchen sink.  In this bowl was:

  • spaghetti squash
  • 1/2 cup Imagine Butternut Squash soup
  • 1 cup Morningstar crumbles
  • broccoli & cauliflower
  • Parmesan cheese

Although it looks quite gross, Bill looked at my bowl like “what IS that”… it was DELICIOUS!  I loved the sweet flavor from the soup mixed w/ the squash and all the other flavors were a huge plus.  Plus I feel like I got a hefty serving of veggies in this bowl, so hopefully it will help me get better!!

Now I’m off to sit and watch the biggest loser and probably have a cup of peppermint tea maybe w/ a small snack – we shall see!  Have a great night!
